Mason Cavender and Vienna Blake find themselves sealed in a Hatfield and McCoy argument that has scorched their families for generations. Though a dual families creatively started out as partners and intermarried, Mason now finds herself struggling as a final of a Cavenders to save what small they have left and Vienna is staid to broach a genocide blow that a Blakes have preferred for so long. Vienna has hold behind however given of a unfit captivate she and Mason have felt for any other given they were young. Though they have attempted to settle a attribute several times in a past, family passion always got in a way. This argument really has overtones of Romeo and Juliet churned in with it. The dual women enterprise any other, yet don't trust any other. The problem is they can't seem to be happy yet any other. Both families are condemned by secrets from a past. Secrets that competence mount between any complacency Mason and Vienna can share if they aren't dealt with.
Jennifer Fulton writes a really convincing romance. Her characters are attractive, energetic and browbeat a pages. Although a reader knows they will work out their problems and find a approach to be together, a conflict between them and a middle operative of a family dynamics keep a story interesting. The obscure partial is because this is tagged as paranormal. There are hints of an ancestor's spook and one of her dogs that stalk one of a estates, yet they play a teenager partial in a story. Loved this book! Enough tract for 3 novels! we grew adult reading a likes of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte and Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier and this story delivered on all my expectations.
The novel opens with a fanciful opening section that sweeps we in. This is a book to be savoured so don't rush a reading.
Thirty-five year aged Mason Blake is during a finish of her rope. Her house is on a margin of collapse. Her family's mortal rivalry Vienna Blake is staid to constraint her association and a family's estate in a Berkshires. Mason and Vienna have know any other given childhood when eleven year aged Mason initial meets 7 year aged Vienna and literally sweeps her off her feet. They have possibility encounters by a years and are compellingly drawn towards eachother with an captivate that goes over all they have been taught by their hatred filled families.
Mason physically and emotionally reminds me so really most of Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights. we adore her housekeeper's name!
The story was a finish pleasure to examination and a finale totally satisfying.

Dark Garden is a book that we wish to spend an after noon savoring. Jennifer Fulton 's "Dark Vista Series" is some of her best writing. we desired a characters, a bit of a Hatfield's and a McCoys all dressed adult and feminine.
