This book consists of dual essays: "The Idea of a Christian Society" and "Notes Toward a Definition of Culture." In these dual essays, Eliot displays his mental bravery by slicing to a heart of a issues of enlightenment in ubiquitous in a second letter and privately Christian enlightenment in a first. I bought this book uncertain of how 'enlightened' it would be. To my warn and pleasure we have found a book alarmingly bold and specific in a ideas of a Christian chairman within a physical society. His letter is profoundly relocating and expressive, yet afterwards again, he is one of a biggest complicated poets. we literally had to refrain myself from highlighting any other line of this book, it is that original. we felt as yet we were reading a classical novel instead of a book on informative ideas.
