try a themed vacation hotel with your Family

themed vacation
Did you ever try a themed vacation hotel with your Family?
Summer just doesn't feel the same without a nice vacation. And yet, when you try to squeeze your vacation in on a tiny budget, all you get for your trouble are dingy motels and bad food. At least, that's what it looks like when you don't know where to look. A vacation hotel doesn't have to cost you all you've earned over the last three months. Try these cheap and cheerful hotels and other lodging options in North America to see how it's done.

Did you ever read a review of some major hotel chain that said that a hotel that belonged to the chain, while it was luxurious and modern, was utterly without character? People really care about character; pick one with character, and your choice in itself can make for some great vacation memories. How about taking your family to the Wigwam Hotel in San Bernardino? The character part starts with how long the motel has been around: ever since World War II, actually. Families that drive into the compound right away, have their children going crazy over how each room in the hotel is a separate Indian tent-shaped structure. They are all built arrayed around a swimming pool. You get wooden floors, heat resistant stucco, comfy sleeper beds, free Internet and cable TV. They don't really try to be the authentic Indian experience or anything; but to be in your own wigwam can be really fun; especially since each room - er - wigwam, only costs about $90 a night.
